About J. Han
J. Han is a Canadian children's picture book author and educator with over twenty years of experience teaching language, art, and physical education to young children in South Korea and Canada.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Linguistics and a professional degree in Illustration and Concept Art — a rare combination that informs both the narrative structure and visual design of her work.
Her seven-book Danny, Riley, and Barry series is designed to embed early learning concepts — including colour recognition, spatial language, size comparison, and early numeracy — directly into story and typography, making each book as useful in the classroom as it is at home.
Her books are currently available to Ontario library patrons through BiblioBoard's Indie Ontario Collection.
